PROJECT OVERVIEW

A stunning contemporary Garden Office measuring 8m x 4m has been designed and built for our clients who work from home.

A beautiful combination of materials makes this a truly unique build, with Cedral cladding on the building in dark grey and a Cedar soffit & facia.  The Western Red Cedar has been factory treated before installation to protect it from UV damage, we recommend this for all Cedar we use.

Electrics include connections at both the house and garden room; 8 double power sockets, external power socket, external security light, 18 LED down lights, 7 Cat6 data points, and smoke alarm.

An Air Conditioning unit has been installed to provide both cooling and heating. The unit has wifi built in so you can control it via an app on your mobile, which is very easy to use. It also has a movement sensor where it powers down if no one is in the room.

The contemporary cloakroom is cleverly shaped to nestle into the corner of the room, it includes a toilet and corner vanity unit, extractor fan and an electric towel radiator.

A practical kitchenette includes integrated fridge, 1.5 bowl composite granite sink, under sink water heater and plenty of storage/shelving.

We have installed services for water, foul and electricity for a shower to be installed in the future, this is a popular option as family needs change over time.

EGR gives you peace of mind by handling the whole project for you, including connections to the mains services, electrics and foundations. The drainage connections were signed off by Building Control per regulations.

At under £1450 per square metre, this building is extremely good value for money.
