Feedback:-

It’s hard to find the right company for a major (expensive) project if you don’t have a personal recommendation. We knew we wanted to build an annexe for our son at the bottom of the garden but didn’t know anyone who had done something similar. We googled some companies and called to make appointments for more detailed quotes. The market leader took a couple of weeks to come out to us and although the sales person was pleasant she didn’t really capture what we wanted and I think it was more of a “stock” drawing. The quote took a month to arrive and no one ever called to follow it up. The other company we looked at was Executive Garden Rooms. We liked the fact that they were a family business and the photos, reviews and videos on their website were really good. We called and spoke to Alison, who answered all our initial questions and booked us an appointment to see Ben. We received a visit soon after and felt Ben really listened to what we needed and came up with a good design. He also outlined the whole process and timescale so we knew what to expect. The detailed quote (with a scale plan) came soon after and Alison kept in touch to see how we felt about the quote etc. We had the opportunity to tweak it and even had the opportunity to choose our own fixtures and fittings, flooring, tiles etc. We just felt confident that EGR were the right company for us and have been proved right. Ben was on site every day and really worked hard from day one. It gave us a lot of confidence knowing he was there and in charge of everything that was going on. The whole team are professional, friendly and really put you at ease through each stage of the project, right from doing the planning application onwards. No question is too small or too silly! The payment plan is fair and even allows for snagging to be sorted before you pay the final amount. The weekly project plan helped us feel part of it and we could plan our week around it. We are so pleased with the final result and our son, who has been living it for 3 months now, has everything he needs and is very happy there. I cannot speak more highly of Alison, Ben and the team they brought in. We are happy to recommend both them and the quality of their workmanship. Thank you so much!
