Garden Annexe - Crewkerne

PROJECT OVERVIEW

This superb Garden Annexe has been designed and built for our client’s mother, so that she can live close to her family but with her own independent living space.

Measuring 6.6m by 5.8m this spacious Garden Room has a large lounge area, separate kitchenette, storage cupboard, spacious shower room and a bedroom.

As with any garden room containing sleeping accommodation, planning permission and building control are required, as a result we organise both on our clients behalf – for a full Turnkey solution.

A fully reinforced concrete raft foundation creates a solid, durable base, there is no void under the building, avoiding rats and foxes nesting underneath.

This annexe includes plenty of power sockets, smoke alarm, wifi point and LED down lights.

Clad in Cedral Weatherboard, a fibre cement cladding plank which looks like natural timber, but stands up to the harshest weather conditions, it has a life expectancy of 50 years…

The flooring includes laminate in the lounge and kitchen, carpet in the bedroom and tiles in the shower room.

A 125 litre pressurised stored water cylinder supplies the hot water to the shower, basin and kitchen sink.  This alleviates any pressure dropping issues when someone in the main house is also using water.  The cupboard creates a handy space for airing and storage of towels etc.

Feedback from client:

First class from start to finish, from the initial talks with Alison to the handing over from John.  I could not of asked for a better company to deal with.
I would echo the other comment that they are the best company I’ve ever dealt with.  Big thanks to all.
